Whenever I have attempted this, it seems that anything less than a
complete tear down has always resulted in doing it a second time. I have
found that it is the small passageways in the body that plug up.
Get a good manual before you start. There are small pieces that are
easily over looked when reassembly is done. Disassemble the carb, one at
a time, in a box to reduce the search for small parts. A gasket rebuild
kit will be necessary unless you are very careful with the work.
Murphy's law does apply.
