to John Hertzman :
i got my glass, gasket, and aluminum trim through Matt
at Re-Originals.
to Richard McCarty :
i had to slightly tweek the aluminum trim by hand before
installation. i bent the extrusions so that they lied completely
flush on the outside of the gasket first, then carefully pushed
them into place, being careful not to un-tweek them out of shape.
once i had the rope trick properly figured out, everything went
together great. well, except for that slight leak i discovered
when it rained 7 inches in one day here a couple of months ago.
to Steve :
i have a new green tint windshield that i decided not to use. not
sure if it is a glue-in or gasket style. i was planning on selling that sucker some day, when i got around to it.
