Wes Ingram's A16 Cam

Gentle Alfisti,
I purchased said camset from Wes and had a difficult time with shims. 
Oversize shims are available from the machine shop that Wes recommends, or 
it's supposedly possible to use VW shims that have been eased on their edges, 
in combination with conventional alfa shims. This procedure is outlined in 
the book Power Tuning Alfa Engines.  In retrospect, I would have purchased a 
new cam set, I think.  The motor has yet to be installed so I can't comment 
on it's performance. Soon...soon...
