Again, in his usual inelegant style, Mr. Smith
proceeds to tell us how stupid Americans are because
they, in very large numbers, prefer a different style
of auto racing than he...as if only those who agree
with his idea of racing style are capable of
intelligent thought....AND they do not understand F1,
as if there is some deep inner insight required to
appreciate F1....and Mr. Smith is our Yoda.  Europeans
must be getting dumber as US NASCAR racing is now
syndicated to the Euro TV market...don't know exactly
where or what parts.  He, on the other hand, is
certainly knowledgeable of all the ins and outs of all
kinds of racing thus his pronouncements displaying his
superior grasp of all things automotive and the
inticacies of all forms of motor racing.
