Sperry Stage III a bomb?

Here in Italy the 75s come in many versions, I have a 1.6 Liter
with twin Webers and I have taken a head off of a 2.0 Liter 75 
with twin Dellortos, neither is/was a twin spark, so its really a 
very mixed bag here.  I have bought 10.4:1 Borgos to install in my
Spider and don't know if the combination will work.  As I said, my
mechanic doesn't think so but before bringing in the car for the
overhaul, I would like to know if anyone knows for sure if it would
or would not.

I was pretty sure that all 2L 75s were TwinSpark.  And I don't see 
what's wrong with a deeper combustion chamber--just get appropriately 
different pistons to keep the compression ratio the same.
