Re: clutch bleeding

I have a trick that I have used to press the brake or clutch pedal when there
is no one around.
I have a wood working clamp, the type you mount on a piece of 3/4 pipe. I
press the pedel down with the pipe and slide the adjustable stop up under the
steering wheel.
Makes bleeding the brakes/clutch a little slow but checking the brake lites is
a lot easier!

Subject: clutch bleeding

Hello to all,

I posted this question a couple months ago and got no response, so I decided
to try again.
The fluid in my clutch system has been there for at least four years and I
think it's time to replace it.
My question is, can I do a "gravity bleed" like you can do with brakes? Or
do you need to pump the fluid through?
It's difficult for me to get a loaner foot to pump pedals when I do stuff
like this.
