Euro 2 Liter Cams vs. US

I would have thought this would be a topic that was beaten to 
death, but I found surprisingly little info on it in the archives. 

I have a 73 Spider with Weber 40DCOEs and the stock US SPICA cams. 
I have been thinking about putting in a set of Stock Euro 2ltr. 
cams. 

Could anyone offer their thoughts on whether or not this is a good 
upgrade for a street car? 
And any tips on Acquisition/installation would also be appreciated.
