Re: Bad News for Sports Cars?

Top 12 things (10 is not enough) to do to make peds & cyclists safe from an impact with
any Alfa Romeo:

1. Require eye exams and rx glasses if necessary so peds & cyclists can see where they
are going.

2. Make it illegal to wear dark clothing after dark and be out on the street - PERIOD.

3. No walking on the street until age 14 and only accompanied by an adult until 18.

4. Test for necessary "walking" skills and license all adults over 18. No license, no
walking on the street!

5. All bicycles must have illuminated frames and wheels and must survive crash test
with all types of vehicles and protect the rider from harm, regardless of cost.

6. All walkers and cyclist must wear appropriate protective clothing including air-bags
required by law in high ped/cyclist death rate areas.

7. No one over 65 is allowed to be on the street without being accompanied by a
licensed walker between the ages of 18-55.

8. Make all crosswalks electrified with high voltage when the "Do Not Walk" sign is
illuminated.

9. Place concrete barriers between all roadways, bike lanes and sidewalks except at
approved electrified cross walks.

10. Outlaw all outdoor lighting that produces any glare that could possibly "blind"
drivers, peds and cyclists.

11. Outlaw any advertisements along roadways and sidewalks that would distract drivers,
walkers or cyclist. This would be the end of "window shopping!"

12. Require all women on the street to wear clothing that covers them from neck to toe
to avoid distracting any drivers, walkers or cyclists.
