RE: Need 164LS/Q Leather Door inserts

i had the same issue with my LS. The previous owner changed the seats but 
not the door panels. When I satrted to look for these panels, I have 
determined that they are near impossible to find.

I was advised to use an alternative material (an upholstery grade ultra 
suede - alcantara). Alcantara is also difficult to locate. I found an 
upholstery grade ultra suede (not alcantara) while in San Francisco. It's 
expensive and nice. I bought it but did not use.

I was also given the suggesten to dye the tan ones. I had a local leather 
shop dye them and they are great if I like the buffed shiney look. I don't. 
I will take them back soon to see if they can dull the finish a bit to match 
the seats.

Dying seems to the easiest alternative. Using alcantara might be nice but 
there are enough shades of black in the interior as is.

but was not able to find black leather interior inserts for the doors. I
have all 4 tan leather inserts and was wondering if anyone was interested
in selling me, or trading their black leather inserts.
