I know alot of the car buff old timers swear by
MMO...but when I was flying radio controlled model
airplanes nearly everyone used it.   After a day of
flying we would run the engine dry and then put a drop
or two of MMO into the carb and spin the prop a few
times....that would spread a thin film of the MMO
inside the engine and around the piston and cylinder
wall to protect it from corrosion.  Model airplane
fuel is a mixture of alcohol and oil.  It did seem to
work, so who knows.
