Subject: Salt sadness for Dallas, TX

Dallas uses a mix of about 10% sand, 1% salt and 89% nothing. In fact
the only place sanded are the overpasses and that is with a dump truck,
2 guys and a shovel.
We just melted out of 3 days of closed businesses, schools and highways,
I20, I30 and I75. 18 wheelers were backed up to Arkansas.
No worry about rust here, its the Bubba's in the pick ups that account
for the high Alfa mortality, 2 of mine alone.
