an alfista's work is never done (milano content)

over the weekend i got the new dedion bushing (poly)
installed, the tranny mounts, sway bar bushings (poly
for the chassis, stock on end links for the moment),
replaced a steering rack boot (hopefully before seal
destruction), new bushings (poly) for the tie rods,
and broke the adjusting nuts loose (and retightened:)
to make life easy for the mechanic to do an alignment.

i was going to skip the a-arm bushing until i replace
the ball joints.

then i accidentally giggled the a-arms while starting
to install the tie rods. <sigh> the upper a-arm
bushing was completely wasted. fortunately i have the
upper bushings on hand (stock) and they can be
replaced with out pulling the upper arm ball joint.
getting the old bushing out was a snap (relatively).
unfortunately, the new one has mushroomed slightly at
the end so i can't get it in the last millimeter or 2.
grn. so much for a quick job.
