1750 Head Gasket R/R-- Looking for Tips

Go back through your archives (V9 #282) and listen to what Ian Lomax has
to say regarding replacing a 4-cylinder head gasket - do's and don'ts -
mostly don'ts.

He offers some good advice, but once again I recommend having the head
skimmed [skimmed (as in no more metal than Absolutely necessary removed)
being the operative word here] before replacing. Ya then know that
sucker's flat / pristine and you don't have to go through all the anal
cleaning bit.
