The coolant bottle is used to act as a swirl pot to trap any air in the bottle
and keep it out of the motor. The air box is a Alfa Ricambi GTA replica air
box with many hours to make it work. This one uses a cone type filter media in
the front/top of the air box. I believe the last dyno on the motor was 194hp
This is a car that I spent many years working on. The car is in Kansas City
now.

Can anyone explain the coolant bottle on the RH firewall of this beast ?
Seems over complicated if it's just an overflow bottle. Why not simply
connect it to the overflow hose on the radiator ?

Subject: Cold Air Intake

Can anyone identify the air intake system on this beautiful Alfa and
where it can be purchased (see link). It looks as though it is using
the right accessory light housing as the intake..WAY COOL. I may be
wrong, but I don't think so. This is an awesome looking car. Many
thanks.
