Russ - Thanks for the heads up, I agree that cross-drilling is an important mod for engines seeing higher stresses. While I was aware of the cross-drilling and the tendancy of spun bearings to show up on 2 and 4 more often, I chose to not have it done this time. The car will be a street driver (and it's Alfa red), so I doubt it will see the prolonged stresses that a race car sees. When I asked about this, the majority of opinions I received was that it is pretty necessary for an engine seeing race stresses but not for a street engine. 

I chose to skip it and will take the chance that involves.
