Me, insulted? You must not've ever heard my Tex-eye-talian! :-)

When I got home after the unexpected failure I went straight for my trusty broom handle
that's been used for this purpose several times before. O' course the trunk was full
and had to be emptied immediately after the failure occurred. So far no bumps on my
head and I still have all my fingers...hope that new strut arrives before I need to
open the hatch again. :-)

I'm just happy I could get a new OEM one delivered for under $60. Most other sellers
were in the $70 to $75 range plus s&h.
