A bit of advice: If you failed as a Gross Polluter, you're in a very bad
status in terms of how long you have to get this fixed. Don't guess what the
problem is and don't waste time trying to save a few bucks.

If you like your car, I recommend opening your checkbook and getting the
problem solved quickly by an Alfalfa specialist. At the very least, read the
DMV site and fully understand the implications and timeline of being a Gross
Polluter. It is not a good thing. They're coming to take it away, they're
coming to take it away OH NO!
