Referring to my statement about 33 Turbodiesels that "Production figures
(21,278 units for the 33) were a very modest portion of total 33 production of
about one and a quarter million cars", Keith Walker wrote "By all the figures
I have read the 33 did not quite manage to break the 1 million cars mark."

I will not vouch for d'Amico & Tabucchi, but their numbers are:

Alfa 33 1.3                   1983-1994     458,295

These (caveat: on my calculator, with my thumbs) total 1,259,670

Don't know which named models are included in each lump sum; the book lists
more than thirty model names, some probably just trim levels, some significant
technical differences (i.e., 33 1.7 IE 16V Permanent 4x4 Europa tipo 907 B1C,
33 1.7 S 16V Quadrifoglio Verde Permanent 4 tipo 907 B1H, etc)

Don't know if these numbers are right, or if it matters, but there it is. Not
my car, etc.
