RE: alfa-digest V9 #214
On my Milano, I found that it doesn't take much coolant loss to trip the ARC
warning light. After replacing a coolant hose, I under-filled the tank by
maybe 1/4 inch or so, & when I started the car, I got the warning light.
If you can smell coolant, you have a leak. No escaping that. Mine was
leaking from the small hose that runs from a T fitting below the coolant
tank, forward under the airbox to a T fitting at the lower hose. I didn't
find it until I removed the airbox & ran my hand along the underside of this
hose.
Good luck,

Subject: Milano/75 Coolant Warning LIght
Fellow alfisti:
The coolant warning light on the ARC dash came on over
the weekend and I can smell some coolant. Coolant
level is okay, the water pump area is dry - any words
of wisdom as to what I ought to look for/at to
determine what the idiot light is trying to tell me?
