V.V.T. Checking

I suspect that my V.V.T. isn't working in my 91 Spider. Thanks to the
replies that I have gotten so far. Here are my findings. With the ignition
"on", looking through the view port of the v.v.t., I pulled up the throttle
plate to the full on position. Nothing. I took off the plug to the
throttle positioner and checked the contacts at full open for continuity.
The position switch appears to be working. Put plug back on. Pulled plugs
from v.v.t. solenoid. Set VOM to read volts, put VOM +lead in one
connecter, -lead to ground and pulled throttle to full, still with ignition
on. Nothing. Switch +lead to other connecter, nothing.

It appears that I am not getting any juice to the v.v.t. I checked all
around in the engine compartment looking for fuses and couldn't find any.
Looked at all of the fuses inside car and none were blown. Any ideas from
my fellow Alfisti on why I am not getting any power to the v.v.t. or am I
just checking it wrong for my model?

Thanks for any help.
