The best tool for getting in with least/no damage is a thin piece of perspex
(or similar flexible item) about the size of a foot rule, with the lower end
fashioned into a flat hook.You carefully insert this between the window and
window seal, and proceed to try and trip the door catch. I confess I have not
tried it on a 164, but I have (legally) gained entry to a few cars using this
method which has the major benefit of being non destructive.
