I like your attitude very much, DO NOT buy pats you may not need! Find out what is wrong first, then fix it. I'd almost bet the coolant sensor is not giving the ECU a correct resistance. When cold it depends on how cold. Below zero it might be as high as 12,000 ohms and hot it must be fairly close to 450 ohms. Let me know what readings you get Cold and hot. Good luck, Fred Di Matteo
