Alfas on TV- The Bill (UK)

A metallic green Alfa 156 is featuring in one of the current story lines in
the long running and excellent ITV Police docusoap 'The Bill'. A plain clothes
Detective Constable (DC) has got too involved with a villain, who now wants to
sleep with the DC's  attractive wife after the DC's leaked information proves
unreliable. The detectives private car is the 156, and in tonights episode
suffers brake failure after having the brake lines severed by the villain's
cronies. All survive intact after doing a nifty handbrake induced spin in the
middle of a roundabout.....for now.

When they start crashing cars properly in TV series its usually a signal that
they are approaching my price range at last.
