Fiat in the news (again)

The December 30th issue of Fortune contains a lengthy article on the
state of FIAT including Alfa Romeo.  According to the story, FIAT itself
is in serious trouble (that we knew) and the author as well as others
interviewed (close to the company) do not have high hopes for the
long-term viability of its automotive division.

The story mentions Alfa Romeo's return to the country is scheduled for
2007.
