there are some alternatives to H134 that bear investigation:

http://www.autocool-refrigerants.com/
http://www.duracoolky.com/

to be legal, you do a "134" conversion by changing the valves over, and
then charge with the duracool or autcool stuff. the valves are relatively
inexpensive.
