philosohpically, there's a lot to be said for setting specific parameters,
and letting 'em race. set a min weight, a max displacement, a spec
gasoline, ban turbos if you don't want the headache of policing boost, and
set some basic safety specs.

if the factories are involved, though, they can find lots and lots of
expensive things to do in the context of such a minimalistic rule set. so
it never ever stays simple.

alfa content? well, we're talking about folks racing alfas, right.
