Bushing replacements on Milano

Can anyone here comment as to the degree of difficulty on replacing:

1. transmission mounts
2. de dion bushing

for the Milano? I'm in the process of replacing all the rubber bushings on
front and rear suspension areas, and i want to do as much of the work at
home that i can, but i fear these two pieces might have to be done
professionally, unless i hear otherwise...

The best method of doing what you are trying to do is remove the
Dedion tube from the car. You will need a press to remove and install the
Dedion bushing. It can be done without a press, but it takes much longer and
the bushing gets abused in the process.

While the tube is out the transmission crossmember is out so it
would be easy to replace both left and right transmission mounts. The rear
mount car be done with the transaxle in the car ( but you need the tube back
in the car ). The whole job can be completed in a day. Good Luck.
