In the Nov 4th AUTOWEEK Matt Davis has a good analysis of the Italian car status.  From his article:"Those automakers attached to Fiat that are doing well--Ferrari, Maserati, ALFA- want to gracefully detach themselves in every sense...ALFA getting ever closer to its Modena siblings in what could become a terrific premium car division that everyone loves and that might actually get ALFA back to the States earlier."  This makes so much sense...drool over the Ferrari and Maser's and go home with an ALFA!  So much sense ...but will it happen.  Ciao, Joe
