New Yoko's

Not sure how useful this will be since I don't know if Yokohama have the same
product line-up in the States as they do in Europe but for what it's worth I
have been using Yokohama A539's (195 50 15) this year for sprints and hill
climbs. Was previously running Pirelli P6000 (195 55 15) and the Yoko's
certainly feel grippier in the full dry and full wet conditions, damp track
conditions I can't choose between them. Some of the apparent increase in grip
might be down to the lower profile and some will be due to the softer feeling
compound.

All that said my times this year (Yoko) are not significantly better than last
(Pirelli) I think this has more to do with a lack of power. If I get the time
I will be going down the TS route to remedy this, unfortunately this means a
2.0 TS 75 will have to be sacrificed...
