164 Fuel pump tip

Take notice for any 164 owners that think they need a new fuel pump!

Not that I am paranoid but why do you think the fuel pump is bad?  I
wasted
$200 on a new pump before I figured out it was the small length on
tubing on
the pump that connects to the output fitting on the cover plate.  I
don't
think these pumps go bad very often. Centerline or APE would be the
closest
sources to you, probably.

Funny you should mention that, the mechanic just called me to tell me
that he found that it was a bad section of tubing and not the pump!
