I had this problem twice with my 164. The pedal got worse and worse, and eventually I had to pull it off the floor with my toes! The problem the first time was the clutch slave. It's not expensive to fix. The second time it was the clutch master. This wasn't expensive either - both were under $100 fixed by my mechanic.
