CVT



(Sorry, off topic.  But only two sentences.)

Subaru had a CVT on the little Justy AWD around '88-'89.

For that matter, my old man still has a combine harvester built in the sixties with a manual CVT -- it has a sliding lever you use for infinite adjustment of the ratio to the driving wheels.
