Hello Jose,
Sounds like it is time for direct ignition coils. You'll likely find one or
more cracked and arcing inside the tube. These are low quality Bosch units.
Bosch is THE biggest factor in the bad reputation of 164s. Steppers, a/c
displays, ECU failures.... very sad.
Expect a retail price of approx. $70 USD per unit, buy extras, if some are
still good, they will fail eventually. Some times you can patch them up
with silicone to prevent the arcing as a short term fix.
