James Dean

To beat the dead horse further, there is a monument to James Dean close to
where he died at Cholame-about 25 miles east of Paso Robles on Highway 46 on
the way to Fresno.  I'm not sure of this part, but I heard his car was a
Porche Speedster and he was passing a truck-apparently at just the time a
vehicle was coming the other way.
