Actually, it shouldn't be. When I was a kid (back in the '50's) and bumper cars were a staple of every amusement park, most of them had Fiat, Alfa, and Maserati 'grilles' on them. The reason? The bumper cars were made in Italy. the plates on the dash said so. The Alfa brand might have been an obscure enthusiast brand here in the USA, but it wasn't obscure to Italians.
