NAC: Freeway Auto Parts in Beaumont, CA?

Hey y'all,
Sorry for the lack of Alfa content, but it's in CA and I'm in MA, so my 
thoughts are straying to other things...
I've got a number of things at work that were shipped to us from a place 
called Freeway Auto Parts in Beaumont, CA. Some of this stuff is 
unrecognizable to me, and I'm wondering if any of you folks know if this 
shop had any significance (maybe in the hotrodding scene? I think Beaumont 
is in southern CA).
Since this is NAC, if you could reply off-digest that would probably be 
better.
