RE: Fuel Filters Part 2

I had a similar problem on my '73 Spider. It turned out to be a cracked
fuel hose at the outlet stub on the tank. These cars flex enough during
corners that the hose was opening up, allowing the fuel pump to draw
air.  I could hear the pump speed up and the light would come on;
sputter-sputter. While changing the tank filter, I noticed it. I
replaced the hose from the tank to the filter inlet and the problem went
away.

Subject: Fuel Filters Part 2

The general consensus is that my fuel filter at the tank is probably
plugged or at least pretty close to being plugged. Thanks for all the
responses.
