164 and Camry
mr seedin has gone too far. obviously hasn't driven a camry lately. a
friend of ours recently commented that the latest camry drives like she
imagines a crown vic drives. i said toyota would be delighted to hear that
as they have spent a bunch of time and money getting that down pat.
the 164 is no le mans special but it beats the heck outa any toyota i ever
drove.
hyperbole has its place but really.....
btw, i'm driving a 2001 corvette at the moment while my saab aero gets a
tranny transplant (long story, don't ask). holey cow batman this sucker
really hauls ass, and round the bends too, and brakes to plant the forehed
on the windshield. i like it. crummy seats tho. but, the auto unlock
feature keeps the girlfriend locked in until you hit the unlok button. nice
to see a car honest about its true purpose these days. no plain jane vanila
here folks, just raw testosterone with 8 way adjustables and 360+ hp (its
the tork that keeps ya coming back, unbelievable really in a streetable car)
maybe gm has the rite idea after all, who need sofistication when you can
have yer balls pressed thru the hatchback if you don't hold on tite. just
where to keep the cell fone tho?
