Re: 156 for sale on Ebay

Ross,

Not sure how he even got the car into Canada..... up here in the GWN...if it was not built for North America it can not be imported / registered period....if it was built for the United States there are a host of regs / allowed imports that have to be adhered to....with Alfas nothing newer that 15 years old (by manufacture date) can be imported /registered..... when we moved back to Canada a few years ago I could not bring my Milano .....with the 15 year rule I should be able to import an 88 verde next spring....... the seller must know someone.......

James

had a Milano
had 1.5 74 GTV's
Alfa less in Calgary

wonder how the Alfarodeo went at Hallet today.....

I saw the 156 for sale on Ebay (in Canada). Does anyone believe
there's any possibility of registering or insuring this car in the US? I would be interested in buying it if I could register it in New
Jersey.

Does anyone have any experience in this matter?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
