The Taunus was a popular model made by the German Ford subsidiary and was
available with a V4 engine. 

Sorry to focus on this possible inaccuracy in a highly interesting story on
OSI, but it seems that a Taunus V4 engine would be a highly unusual engine
choice for an Opel OSI (Opel is the German GM subsidiary).
