Pat Braden

The news of Pat's passing is truly shocking. I had the distinct pleasure of
spending an afternoon with Pat, Cheryl, and their wonderful young daughter
Pattie during this year's national AROC convention.

I was deeply impressed not only by Pat's deep understanding of Alfas new and
old (well,  that was expected) but by his wonderful perspective on life and
gentle demeanor when dealing with less knowledgeable Alfisti. While working
with Pat on various publication projects for AlfaCentro, I got the feeling
the I was dealing with someone quite special, and spending time with Pat
more than confirmed that feeling. Pat gave an incredible amount to the Alfa
community and asked very little in return.

He will be deeply missed. My sympathies go out to Cheryl and their children.
