GTV6 colour combos



Manufacturing costs is the likely reason. Modern production methods applied to the GTV6 meant longish runs of one colour body. Not many GTV6 were built so not many colours for any given production period.

The Spider on the other hand was basically hand built in Pininfarina's facility. Certainly they were hand finished, including the painting. Any colour you wanted would be no problem for that type of production. Seems to me they were built alongside the FIAT 124 Spider, even sharing door handles, exterior and interior colours, and so on.

There's a reason cars like the Spiders are no longer manufactured.
