Spider Fans - ?

The fans come on when the discharge pressure of the AC compressor gets high
enough to close the switch located on the top dryer, which in located under
the front passenger side fender. It will not come on immediately. Turn on
the AC and put it on the coldest settings and put it at a fast idle, 1500
rpm's, so that the discharge pressure rises. If the fans still do not come
on unplug the wires on the switch located on top of the dryer and short
across the one for the fans and see if the fans come on is so replace the
switch. The switch is probable cheap, but removing the Freon 12 and
replacing it won't be. If the fans don't come on look for a short in the
wire since I believe they use the same relay.
