Re: alfa-digest V8 #1017

Yes. The original GT-40's body was designed and built for Ford Advanced Vehicles by Lola in England. The car had a smooth, chisle nose and no under-chin spoiler. The air intake was tucked-up under the chin of the car and opened upward. In fact, when standing in front of the car, it couldn't even be seen. The first tests at various British tracks, including Silverstone, were, I understand, inconclusive, so they moved to Sarthe. On the old Mulsanne, the car's nose became so light at around 170 MPH that the car couldn't be steered. The next time it showed up, the nose had been heavily revised, and instead of the underbody sweeping up to a sharp, chisle nose, it was now swept DOWN, flat with a large central air intake and two smaller, side intakes, close to road level where, what had been the underside of the car once resided. Two large winglets or chines which looked like the edges of an airdam had been added to the front of the car just in front of each wheel well. The rear spoiler was also more pronounced and the back-end made flatter and undercut more. The original Lola bodied car had a rounded back-end similar to that on the contemporary Lola 70 series race cars and the P4 Ferrari.

Can anyone tell me the part number for the Bosch Platinum 4 spark plug?

Bosch does not list if for the 1974 Spider. IAP list that it's available.
Should I get lodge plugs instead?
