High vacuum in spider tank, still

Hi all. I am still having a problem with so much vacuum in my gas tank it
is deforming.

The things that I have checked;

1. Air inlet one-way valve (ok)
2. Check valve - not sure, it blows in both directions with just a little
resistance. The first time that I disconnected this hose, (from the tee
fitting that goes to the inlet valve and the canister) the gas tank inhaled
and popped. Reconnected the hose and went for a little ride. When I got
back, I disconnected the hose again and this time the hose was under a good
deal of pressure and exhaled.

The hoses in the back appear to be free and not crimped. Looking at the car
disc, it appears the return system goes through a carbon canister and an
electric solenoid valve at the front of the car. Could one of these systems
be the culprit?

Is there a diagram anywhere that shows this whole circuit and all the
components in it?

I suspect the check valve is bad since it doesn't check.

Anyway, thanks for any help,
Mike B
