       You don't blip the throttle on upshift.  Just bounce the clutch out 
and then back in as you pass thru neutal.  That uses the engine's slowin' 
downin' (another technical term, Fred) to slow the transmission gears down 
which is the same thing the syncros are supposed to do but usually don't.
