Vlad, I haven't seen a reply to your post yet, so here goes, hopefully not 
too late.

The tie rods on my 164 had a square area that you could put a wrench (14 mm I 
think) so you could do the nut and hold the steering rack arm.  The square 
area was almost impossible to see, even when I knew it was there.  I first 
found it by feel.
