I read your post to the digest re: your e-mail converstation with Caribou.  I don't find the tone of either e-mails (yours to Caribou or their reply to you inappropriate).  To me it seems as the both misunderstood each others tone.

You were politely inquiring about your order.

Caribou mis-understood and thought you we complaining about slow service.

Caribou replied explaining the current situation and said he get to your order soon and wouldn't charge until shipment.

So, why cancel your order?  If it were me, I'd write back and say, "Thanks for the reply, I'll be waiting for my order"

I've never ordered from Caribou... no finacial interest etc.
