Spider Headers

Alfisti,

I have been curiously watching the threads about Spiders and after
market headers.

I am in the process of building a high performance street Spider.  I
have purchased headers from a Alfa parts dealer in Virginia, thinking
that they would be a bolt on blessing.  But from what I understand,
they will do more harm than good.

I understand that the stock Alfa two piece header is pretty good...but
what Alfa vendor sells a good quality header that will offer increased
performance?  OR Will I have to try to get one fabricated?

Please advise.
