Tire widths

All this talk of tire sizes has got me thinking about new tires for my Spider.

The time has really come but the tire I really want is unavailable in the size
I need.

I like the Falken Azenis sport but there is no 195/60 15 inch - just 205/50.

I'm concerned about rubbing in the rear against the frame, Something that I
experienced autocrossing with the 14 inch 205's on wheels that apparently had
too much offset.

Since I have never had wider tires on the stock 15- inch wheels I'm not sure
if the fit will be OK either on the Street or autocross.

Anyone have any experience with wider tires on the stock phone dial  wheels?
